Sylvain Guintoli will return to the Endurance World Championship in 2024, a stage he is familiar with. Now, he will do so as a factory rider for BMW, as recently announced.
For now, the Frenchman is the only rider announced for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team, and his teammates will be revealed later. The rider will also have development duties for the BMW M 1000 RR in the test team.
Currently 41 years old, Guintoli was the endurance world champion in 2021 – the only season he competed in the championship. He also has the World Superbike title in 2014 on his resume.
