The recently renewed Suzuki KATANA stands as a testament to refinement and functional beauty in the motorcycle world. Every aspect of its design, components, and performance has been meticulously crafted, in a process reminiscent of the creation of the Japanese sword from which it takes its name.

Powerful and Refined Engine At the heart of the new KATANA lies a 999 cc engine, shared with the GSX-S1000, but adapted to meet Euro5 standards. This update resulted in a slight power increase, now reaching 152 hp at 11,000 rpm, with a more uniform torque distribution. The bike debuts a Ride-by-wire electronic throttle, new camshafts, a redesigned airbox, and a renovated exhaust system.

Top-Tier Chassis and Suspension

Aesthetics and Practicality

The 17-inch wheels are available in gold or red, depending on the chosen version. Dunlop Roadsport 2 tires ensure good grip in various conditions. Despite the imposing neo-retro design, the fuel tank has a capacity of only 12 liters, a necessary compromise to maintain its distinctive aesthetics.

Cutting-Edge Technology

The KATANA comes equipped with adjustable traction control with five levels, three selectable engine maps, and a bidirectional quickshifter. All this information is presented on a color digital LCD screen, with a specific interface for this model. The bike also includes a “Low RPM Assist” system to prevent the engine from stalling at low revs.

Weighing 215 kg, the Suzuki KATANA offers an impressive combination of power, technology, and design. This motorcycle represents not just an evolution of the KATANA lineage, but also a milestone in modern motorcycle engineering, masterfully blending tradition and innovation.
