Thanks to the new concession system, Honda will be able to have up to six wildcards in the 2024 MotoGP season. For now, test rider Stefan Bradl has three confirmed appearances.
During this week’s private tests in Jerez, the German revealed his plans in an interview with SPEEDWEEK.com: ‘We will be testing throughout the year and at various tracks. So far, I have had 25 to 30 testing days per year, now it will be 40,’ he began.
As for the wildcards, Bradl stated that there are already plans for the first part of the season: ‘From time to time, there is also competition, we have registered for wildcards in Jerez [Spanish GP], Barcelona [Catalan GP], and Sachsenring [German GP]. That is the plan for the first half of the season.’
