Simon Längenfelder sealed his second win of the day at the MXGP of Switzerland in the MX2 Motocross World Championship, clinching the overall victory in Frauenfeld.

The Red Bull KTM rider started the second race with the holeshot and led from start to finish, pulling away from teammate Andrea Adamo – who remained his closest challenger throughout.

At the end of the race, Längenfelder beat the Italian by 9.039s. Liam Everts (Red Bull KTM) finished third, having held that position since the first lap. The battle for fourth was more intense.

Championship leader and reigning champion Kay de Wolf (Nestaan Husqvarna) had to fight his way up the order and ultimately secured fourth on the final lap by overtaking Thibault Benistant (Monster Energy Yamaha).

With a perfect score of 50 points, Längenfelder claimed the MX2 victory at the MXGP of Switzerland, beating Everts and de Wolf by ten points. The Belgian took second overall, and the Dutchman finished third – just two points ahead of Adamo.
