Royal Enfield continues to expand its lineup, and next year, it is expected to launch a new scrambler – the Scram 440, featuring a brand-new engine.
According to the website BikeWale, the motorcycle will be powered by a 443cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 25 hp at 6,250 rpm – a slight increase over the current 411cc engine in the Scram 411.
The chassis will also undergo revisions to make the bike more suitable for urban traffic, although many components will be carried over from the current Scram 411 to the new Scram 440.
There are expected to be tweaks in the style and design, including updates to the instrument cluster. The motorcycle’s launch is anticipated in India during the first half of next year.
