Royal Enfield has been developing the Classic 650 for some time now and we have seen photos of the bike in the past. Now, the next Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been spotted testing again, and this time we have a clearer image of the design and base of the bike.
As for the design, the Classic 650 is almost identical to the Royal Enfield Classic 350. It features the same headlight fairing with chrome tone and the iconic Royal Enfield tiger eyes pilot lights, then there is a similar telescopic fork with metal caps that extends down from the headlight fairing.
The fuel tank is teardrop-shaped and the bike also has front and rear metal fenders, like the Classic 350. The taillight cover is also similar to that of the Classic 350, with a round taillight and bulb-type indicators. The exhaust setup on the bike is slightly different and consists of two dual exhausts, and it seems we believe this will make the Classic 350 sound quite different from the Interceptor 650.
Like the Classic 350, the Classic 650 appears to have a telescopic fork and dual rear shocks, the bike has 18-inch wheels with spoked rims and tube tires at both ends.
It also has disc brakes at both ends, probably a 320 mm disc and a 300 mm disc at the front and rear with dual-channel ABS as standard, as we saw in the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.
