Nashville was the stage for another round of AMA Supercross, with the 250 class witnessing a Showdown between the riders from the West and East regions all together. There was a clear winner, RJ Hampshire, who dominated from the first moment to the end.
The Husqvarna rider made the holeshot and from there led every lap, finishing the main event at Nissan Stadium with a 3.663s lead over Jo Shimoda, with Tom Vialle securing another podium and being the best from the East region on track, while Jordon Smith and Jalek Swoll closed out the top five.
Indeed, while the riders from the West were faster overall, when looking at the top four, the balance was clearly seen as it was mainly the riders from the East occupying the following positions.
This victory for Hampshire meant the lead in the West championship for #24 who surpassed Levi Kitchen, now two points behind in the standings, while Smith is closer to Kitchen, but still 16 points away.
As for the East region, Vialle continued to increase his lead, securing his sixth consecutive podium and now has a 13-point lead over Haiden Deegan. Cameron McAdoo is three points behind Deegan.
