Repsol has been involved in motorcycle racing across various disciplines for many years. MotoGP, in partnership with Honda, which will end at the close of this year, has been the pinnacle, but Repsol is also represented in trial and rally-raid competitions, among others. In the Museum of «Made in Spain» Motorcycle, some of the bikes that marked its history are on display.
The space has undergone renovations in recent months and has now reopened to pay tribute to the Spanish motorcycle industry. Repsol is present with an area entirely dedicated to its sponsorships, where legendary motorcycles are exhibited: a Honda NSR 500 ridden by Mick Doohan and Toni Bou’s Montesa Cota 4RT are among the highlights.
In competitions, Repsol has leveraged its involvement to develop products, becoming a reference in the industry. One of the latest innovations has been the development of renewable fuels, now available at gas stations and developed in competition with Marc Márquez’s Honda RC213V in MotoGP.
The museum is located in Alcalá de Henares, near Madrid, and is open on Fridays (16:00-20:00), Saturdays (10:00-14:00 / 16:00-20:00), and Sundays (10:00-14:00 / 16:00-19:00).
