Francesco Bagnaia came out of the MotoGP Catalan GP accident with injuries much less serious than he could have had: he did not suffer any fractures.
The Ducati rider had a highside at the exit of the second corner of the race and was run over in the legs by Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) – being assisted on the track before being taken to the circuit’s medical center and then to the hospital for further examinations.
The Borgo Panigale manufacturer issued an update on Bagnaia’s health status, which reads: ‘Pecco Bagnaia suffered multiple contusions, but additional medical examinations did not show any fractures. The current world champion will travel to Italy with the team tonight‘.
