In the upcoming season, the World Supersport Championship will have another manufacturer involved. QJMotor is the big surprise on the list of entries revealed this Monday and will line up with Raffaele De Rosa.
The chosen bike is the QJ GSR 800. In its road version, it has a tubular steel frame very similar to that of the Honda CBR650 R and features a four-cylinder engine with 778 cubic centimeters of displacement. This will likely have to be different for competition.
Although founded in 1985, QJMotor only recently arrived in Europe under its own name, but in 2005 it acquired the Benelli brand. After Kove entered the World Supersport 300, it is the second Chinese manufacturer to participate in the championships leading to the World Superbike Championship.
