The provisional list of entries for the 2024 MotoGP season was announced this Monday. There are no new developments in the lineup of riders compared to the announcements of recent days, weeks, and months, but among the teams there is one without identity and defined.
After the announcement of the termination of the contract with CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team this morning, the Aprilia satellite team appears only under the designation “Aprilia Racing Independent Team.” It is speculated that the spot will go to the Americans from Trackhouse Racing, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
There are also some adjustments in the designations of two teams: LCR Honda becomes Honda LCR, with Castrol sponsorship for Johann Zarco and Idemitsu for Takaaki Nakagami. Valentino Rossi’s team also changes its name to Pertamina Enduro VR46 MotoGP Team. It was also revealed that Pedro Acosta will compete with the number #31.
