From April 27th to May 4th, 2024, the “4th Moto-Volta a Portugal HONDA” returns to the country’s roads, organized by PPmoto-adventures, with the official support of Honda Motor Portugal, TRY-Moto equipment, Casa das Peles, Parque Rural Tambor, and other sponsors to be announced, as well as the support of various municipalities.
The event is open to all Honda motorcycles that are suitable for this adventure. It takes place on national and municipal asphalt roads, although occasionally small stretches of dirt roads without technical difficulty may be traveled to reach a visit location. If you don’t have a Honda, the organization can provide rentals. This is the largest moto-touristic adventure carried out on national soil, both in distance and number of days, regions to visit, number of activities and visits to be made. Most of the route is done following the Tour-Leader, in a predetermined order, although the itinerary in GPS coordinates is also provided for those who want to follow autonomously or in case they get lost from the group. Sometimes, a road-book may also be provided to follow the directions to a meeting point.
As in previous editions, the approximately 2000-kilometer route is “secret” and in 2024 the northern and central regions of the country will be privileged, through mountains and valleys, as other regions have already been explored in previous editions and tours. The number of admitted participants is very limited, in order to maintain the cohesion and familiarity of the group.
Registration includes visits to unusual or unknown places to most, unexpected activities, accommodation, breakfast and lunch included, a fellowship dinner, as well as an exclusive t-shirt, participation trophy, and various gifts. Dinners are on a free regime (except for the fellowship dinner), so you can choose the option that interests you the most.
For those who prefer to book their own accommodations, there is also that option. However, those who choose this solution will have to strictly adhere to the departure time of the stages. The registration fee for the eight days starts at 690 Euros (depending on the type of accommodation chosen)
