Counting down to receive the MotoGP world championship for the sixth time, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will ‘debut’ next to the Main Grandstand a Fan Zone that promises to bring a lot of excitement and provide moments of contact with the riders throughout the weekend of the second round of the world championship.
In partnership with Dorna, the championship promoter, this Fan Zone will operate from Thursday afternoon until mid-afternoon on Sunday with a program that will certainly please all those who are following the live event.
‘Together with Dorna, we have created a Fan Zone next to the Main Grandstand that will certainly be one of the liveliest points of the weekend with various moments of interaction with riders and also with a lot of music, whether from DJs or bands from the Algarve region almost entirely, the same happening with the DJs where once again the well-known Bubba Brothers are in the lineup. We will have music for all tastes… that’s for sure… and on Thursday afternoon for the first time we will open the pit lane so that all valid ticket holders can see up close the boxes and the bikes of the riders who are competing in the world championship.’ Comments Paulo Pinheiro, CEO of Parkalgar.
Operating since Thursday afternoon, this Fan Zone located next to the Main Grandstand of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will not only receive musical entertainment but also the visit of many riders on the 22nd and 23rd (Friday and Saturday) in a unique opportunity for MotoGP fans to be close to their favorite riders, whether they are from Moto3, Moto2, or MotoGP.
There will also be a merchandising and catering area around it, creating a fantastic atmosphere for the end of the day program or to further enjoy the experience of watching a live race of the world championship.
