In all motorcycle classes it has entered, KTM has never settled for less, entering the fight for titles sooner or later. The MotoGP project started in 2017 and progress has been evident, with winning the championship being one of the few milestones left.
When asked if the realistic goal for 2024 is to compete for the title until the last round of the year, KTM Motorsport director Pit Beirer confirmed it, stating:
– That is the goal, yes. We finished fourth, so the next realistic goal is to get a rider on the podium, that is definitely the absolute target. But we haven’t put in all this effort to now say that we are satisfied with a podium. We want to fight for the title.
