Throughout the past year, there has been speculation about the possible creation of a kind of MotoGP pilots’ union. Currently, there is no such entity, as there is the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) in Formula 1, uniting the pilots in their claims.
Brad Binder, who competes for Red Bull KTM, was asked by the website SPEEDWEEK.com if he considers it necessary to have a structure that represents the pilots. The South African was in favor, stating:
– I believe that is good for the future. It is good if all the pilots come together and talk about the problems that may arise. When all the pilots agree on a certain thing, it is always good to speak with a voice that can help us move forward.
