The historic French brand (owned by the Mahindra group) seems to be developing new strategies to face the challenges of the coming years in the field of mobility, not only in the scooter segment.
There are two interesting aspects: on one hand, Peugeot becomes the majority shareholder in DAB Motors, a French company specialized in the production of electric motorcycles, and on the other hand, it is moving towards the production of low-displacement motorcycles with an internal combustion engine, but not so small…
They will be called PM-02, PM-03, and PM-05 and, apparently, they will introduce this brand into a market in which Peugeot has not yet participated. A nice revitalization, in short, that we already know with the PM-01 125 and PM-01 300 models, presented in 2024, but apparently, they may be just the tip of the iceberg, as the company will not stop here.
Peugeot is about to plan new fully electric models for urban mobility and, in parallel, also traditional motorcycles with a larger cubic capacity. We just have to wait for new developments.
