KTM continues to take solid steps towards fighting for the MotoGP title. This year, Brad Binder has been a more constant presence in the battle for the top positions, achieving several podiums. Despite not having any wins, team director Francesco Guidotti was pleased with the performance.
In an interview with the championship’s official website, the Italian stated that it was a satisfactory season, with clear improvements that allowed the manufacturer to keep up with the pace of evolution of the rest of the field:
– I’ve been happy from the start, I would say. We started off well in Portimão and throughout the season we had many podiums – some wins in Sprint races. The improvement is clear and that’s what we were looking for this year. Most races this year were much faster than last year, which means the level is increasing. We are there, so that means maybe we are the manufacturer that has recovered more than the others.
