The last GP in Le Mans was the first one in which Pedro Acosta suffered a crash during a race, in this case, it happened on Sunday a few laps after the start, when he was attacking the top positions. Now comes another GP in Spain, in Montmeló, and the desire to have a good race is clear.
Acosta first recalled his feelings about what happened in the last GP, but made sure to highlight that he is ready to face this race in Barcelona: ‘Le Mans was a somewhat frustrating weekend, because, as I said, we had the bike ready to be at the front of the race. I arrive at Montmeló with more enthusiasm and clear ideas, so I will try to have a good Friday, continue on Saturday, and finish on Sunday’.
Being a circuit where grip is not exactly the best, #31 will rely on the experience he has gained so far after his time in the premier class:
– Let’s see how we manage the tires throughout the weekend on a low-grip circuit; Fortunately, in these first 5 races I have already learned more about this topic. That said, I am really looking forward to the weekend and to see how the GASGAS fans fill the stands with red!
