With each passing Grand Prix, Pedro Acosta dazzles in MotoGP. The victory at the Americas GP was not far off, as he led the race before finishing in second place. Jorge Lorenzo praised the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rookie once again after the Austin round.
In the Dura la Vita podcast, the former rider commented: ‘I said it. If everything goes well and he doesn’t have bad luck, he would be ready to win in Jerez. The kid almost got ahead of me and almost won in Austin’.
The three-time MotoGP champion highlighted the levels of preparation of the young man from Murcia, whom he believes now needs to add the experience he still lacks:
– This kid is technically more prepared than the others. The KTM is a very nervous bike and besides, he lacks experience which is very important in MotoGP. He is making a difference on the KTM. When he adds the experience, they will see where he is.
