Praise for Pedro Acosta continues, after another podium at the Americas GP. Even in rival constructors there is recognition of the work of the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rookie, as is the case with Stefan Bradl.
In statements on Servus TV, the Honda test rider highlighted the rookie’s attitude, seeing him as calm: ‘He doesn’t care about anything. He is also in a relaxed disposition in terms of character and doesn’t let himself go crazy. Of course, his talent is enormous, there’s no need to talk about that. But it also seems like he doesn’t care about that in his head. It’s always easier said than done’.
Bradl then said that the Americas GP was the confirmation of the podium in Portimão: ‘Acosta doesn’t worry if a Marc Márquez passes him and he’s there with the big stars. It’s impressive. He was already on the podium in Portugal, still a bit lucky this time. Now he confirmed it again in Texas. Furthermore, he was in front of the pack in all the sessions‘.
On the other hand, the German emphasized that Acosta was stronger than the other KTMs: ‘He surpassed the competition in KTM. That was a strong exclamation point. So far, I don’t have the impression that anything in his head could drive him crazy. And that’s his big advantage at the moment‘.
