Pedro Acosta was crowned Moto2 world champion last Sunday, with two rounds remaining before he begins his preparations for MotoGP – in the test after the Valencia GP in less than two weeks.
In a press conference, the talented Spanish rider was asked about his prospects for the future in MotoGP with GasGas Tech3. In response, he emphasized that he is now fully focused on Moto2:
– I don’t think about that. It’s true that maybe in Moto3 when I won the title I started thinking about Moto2 too quickly and didn’t enjoy the class. And now is the time to finish in the best way in Moto2, try to fight for the team title and try to enjoy. After all, MotoGP arrives on Tuesday after Valencia and I will have a long winter to think about it.
