MotoGP is getting closer to starting its fifth round of the season and now heads to Le Mans, where Pedro Acosta looks to improve his position on the grid for the races, needing to improve his qualifying, as that is one of the objectives. However, he believes he is in a much better position now, after the Spanish GP and the test in Jerez.
‘We are arriving in France with many lessons learned in Jerez. After four rounds, we knew what areas we needed to improve, and the test helped us a lot in that sense, so I think we are on our way to France in a much better position,’ he said in a team statement.
Acosta then spoke about the track in France, one he likes and that is the home GP for the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team: ‘Le Mans is a circuit that I like and it is also the home Grand Prix for the Tech3 team, so we will try to do our best, starting by improving our qualifying on Saturday and trying to get a good position on the grid. I can’t wait to race there, in front of a crowd that loves motorcycling to the fullest!’.
Currently, Acosta is in fourth place in the championship with 69 accumulated points. Jorge Martín leads with 92.
