Jorge Martín leads the MotoGP World Championship with a 17-point advantage. After a very positive start to the season, the Spanish rider arrives at Le Mans with a reduced advantage, after suffering a fall in Sunday’s race in Jerez.
Fonsi Nieto, in statements to Diario AS, spoke about the performance of his rider’s rival, Francesco Bagnaia.
“Being the leader of the overall standings helps, of course it helps. Everything comes together here. Everything is at a very high level and we witnessed a very good race. Pecco has been unbeatable. He has worked very well and we have seen that he always recovers when he has problems. We have seen that many times and we will do the same. Everything is fine. We entered Jerez to fight for the win.”
This weekend we arrive at the Le Mans circuit, in France, where we will certainly witness a great battle for the championship lead.
