Openbank Aspar will once again be competing in the MotoE World Championship and presented their team for 2024 this Thursday. Last year’s vice-champion, Jordi Torres, remains, while Kevin Zannoni is his new teammate.
Last year, Aspar fought for the title until the end with Torres, but the Spaniard was unable to secure his third championship after his victories in 2020 and 2021. As for Zannoni, he will enter his fourth season, with his career highlighted by the two podium finishes he achieved last year.
The CEO of Aspar, Jorge Martínez Aspar, stated in a press release: ‘The Aspar Team’s project in the MotoE World Championship could not be understood without the support of Openbank. Together, we have worked hard over these years, reaching new heights with victories and podiums, and we came close to winning the title in 2023. Today, we open a sixth season of collaboration in which we will continue to fight as we have done so far to repay the trust that Openbank has placed in us with excellent results.’
