All the riders who will compete in the 2024 Superbike World Championship are now known. The permanent grid will have 23 bikes, including rookies and several new additions to the teams.
The Aruba.it Ducati team was the champion and retains Álvaro Bautista, but now bets on Supersport world champion Nicolò Bulega. To make this possible, Michael Ruben Rinaldi left and now has a new challenge at Motocorsa Racing – also on a Ducati Panigale V4 R. Pata Yamaha continues with Andrea Locatelli, but after Toprak Razgatlioglu moved to BMW, they hired Jonathan Rea from Kawasaki. Axel Bassani will take Rea’s place, becoming a factory rider for the first time.
Scott Redding made way for Razgatlioglu at BMW and now joins the manufacturer’s satellite team, Bonovo Action. GYTR GRT Yamaha and Team HRC keep their riders, as well as Kawasaki Puccetti sticking with Tito Rabat – who joined midway through 2023. The same goes for Yamaha Motoxracing, who decided to keep Bradley Ray.
