Ducati dominated the MotoGP tests in Sepang, once again demonstrating a certain supremacy in MotoGP as has been the case in recent seasons. However, the opponents seem to be getting closer and will benefit from the new concessions system to compete with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
Michele Pirro, Ducati test rider, told GPOne.com that it is a normal process and there may be more balance in 2024, admitting that Ducati’s goal is to stay in the position it is for as long as possible:
– It’s normal and it’s part of the evolution. As Ducati, we have been pursuing for years and now that we have reached an excellent level, we hope to stay there as long as possible, but we know that the competition, also thanks to the new concessions, will make the championship very interesting this year.
