Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) denied Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) a perfect weekend at the Autodrom Most by winning Race 2 by just 0.027 seconds. The race, witnessed by over 55,000 fans, was a thriller from start to finish. Bulega secured his eighth win of the season and strengthened his lead in the championship.

The Italian had a rocky start to the weekend but turned it around. ‘It’s been a really up‑and‑down weekend. On Friday, I had a huge crash, and now we’ve finished with a victory in Race 2’, he revealed. Although Most isn’t a circuit that suits his riding style, Bulega managed to shine. ‘The bike felt much better today and I was able to ride how I like to.’

Bulega led the opening 11 laps before Razgatlioglu made his move at Turn 17. The response was immediate, and an intense battle ensued all the way to the final corner. The Turk tried to hold the lead, but the Italian bided his time.

‘I accelerated better than my rival out of the last corner and won the drag race to the line’, said an emotional Bulega. ‘To get the win here after such a tough start means a lot. Now I hope to repeat this performance at Misano.’

With this result, Bulega holds a 31-point lead in the standings over Razgatlioglu. Ducati also extended its advantage in the manufacturers’ table, now leading BMW by 58 points.
