Just as yesterday’s WSBK tests in Jerez ended, they continue: Nicolò Bulega is once again the fastest on the Spanish circuit. Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu, both with a new team, are performing well and close out the top three.
The rookie, WSSP champion in 2023, is already having a big impact with Ducati and, just like yesterday, today he seems to be keeping up the pace and remains in the lead of the tests, with a lap time of 1:37.809s, an improvement over yesterday’s time, 1:38.292s.
Behind the Italian, with a 0.536s difference, is Rea, who will be racing with Yamaha this year after many titles with Kawasaki. The adaptation seems to be going well for the British rider, who has another former world champion, Razgatlioglu, in a similar situation with BMW, just 0.293s behind.
Stefan Bradl (MotoGP/Honda) is fourth overall and the only one riding a MotoGP bike, with Andrea Iannone also performing very well. He is returning to motorcycle racing after a four-year absence due to a penalty for a positive doping test.
Danilo Petrucci is fifth among the WSBK riders, even ahead of Álvaro Bautista, the reigning champion, who is in 11th place.
Among the WSSP riders, the highlight is Stefanzo Manzi (23rd overall), with Can Oncu and Adrien Huertas completing the top three.
Here is the overall classification of the times:
