It may not be Suzuki’s official return to global road racing, but Suzuki Italia has thrilled fans with the creation of a new national-level one-make trophy.
The Trofeo GSX-8R Cup will have its inaugural edition in 2025, with registrations opening this Tuesday, December 10. All participants will compete on the same motorcycle – the GSX-8R equipped with a dedicated kit.
The championship will feature five rounds, all held in Italy, with two taking place on MotoGP circuits: Misano (April 6) and Mugello (June 1). The other tracks are Magione, Modena, and Varano, which will host the season finale on September 28.
Registrations are open until March 21, with two price tiers: €4,500 for those who already own a GSX-8R, and €12,700 for a package including the motorcycle. Both packages include the Trofeo Kit, registration, and clothing kit.
