Aprilia surprises once again with a machine set to win over the hearts — and right wrists — of a new generation of riders. Meet the Tuono 457: born in Noale and positioned as the boldest and most high-tech naked bike in its class. Aimed especially at A2 license holders, this new Tuono offers an unbeatable combination of lightweight design, full A2 power, and sharp Italian styling.

Tuono DNA, Now in 457 Form

While it may be the most “stripped-down” model in the lineup, the Tuono 457 doesn’t lose the fiery spirit of its bigger siblings. It shares its platform with the RS 457, swapping the full fairing for a muscular naked design. Aggressive LED headlights and styling cues inspired by the iconic Tuono V4 1100 give it a confident, sporty look — without sacrificing everyday comfort or versatility.

With a dry weight of just 159 kg and a 457cc parallel-twin engine, the Tuono 457 delivers 47.6 hp at 9,400 rpm and 43.5 Nm of torque — 82% of which is available as early as 3,000 rpm. The result? Instant throttle response and fun from the moment you twist the grip, even in urban traffic.

Aluminum Frame and Precise Handling

The Tuono 457 stands out as the only bike in its segment with an aluminum frame — a feature inspired by racing that brings superior rigidity, agility, and weight savings. Suspension components are fully adjustable: a 41 mm USD fork with 120 mm travel up front, and a rear monoshock with 130 mm travel mounted on an asymmetric steel swingarm.

Braking is handled by ByBre, with a 320 mm front floating disc and a 220 mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel Bosch ABS with optional rear deactivation — perfect for those who like to push their limits.

Premium Tech as Standard

The Tuono 457’s electronics are finely tuned to deliver both safety and fun. The Ride-by-Wire system controls power delivery and Aprilia Traction Control (ATC), with three selectable riding modes:

  • ECO – smooth response, ideal for commuting and fuel economy
  • SPORT – sharp throttle and reduced traction control
  • RAIN – safer wet-weather settings with maximum traction assistance

Both ATC and ABS are adjustable on the move, letting each rider tailor the experience. A 5-inch color TFT display with backlit controls ensures the information is always clear and easy to read.

Optional features include the bidirectional Aprilia Quickshifter (AQS) and the Aprilia MIA system, which allows smartphone pairing for navigation and media management.

Italian Style in Two Flavors

The Tuono 457 is available in two striking color schemes: Piranha Red, a bold mix of red and black, and Puma Grey, an elegant blend of grey and white. Either way, it’s designed to turn heads — even while idling.

Final Thoughts: Everyday Naked, Track-Ready Soul

With its lightweight chassis, advanced electronics, and eye-catching design, the Aprilia Tuono 457 sets a new benchmark in the A2 sport-naked segment. It’s a bike that’s easy to ride — and hard to forget.

Tech specs? 457cc engine, 47.6 hp, 175 kg curb weight, 4.1 L/100 km average fuel consumption, and Euro 5+ compliant. In short: ready for today, and built to race into the future.
