At EICMA in Milan, Kappa introduced the new K’rugged AV07 side cases, featuring the quick-fixing Monokey plate system. These cases are designed for touring and the enduro segment.
This innovative «two-component» loading system ensures waterproofing and protects the contents from impacts, scratches, and environmental conditions like mud and dust. The design ensures that the panniers do not interfere with the motorcycle’s exhaust or become exposed to its gases.
Each AV07 side case offers a 27-liter capacity and is compatible with the Monokey quick-fixing plate system, allowing for easy mounting and removal in seconds. These cases can be attached to tubular side-case holders on most motorcycles.
Tailored for enduro and off-road use, the cases are made from high-resistance polyester with a PU coating and feature a PP Board on the rear for added durability. All materials are UV-resistant, and the inner bag is crafted from Tarpaulin.
The AV07 cases also include lateral and front spring systems, allowing for customised configurations. Riders can adjust the setup according to the type of journey, whether short, long, or demanding. Additional features include a Roll Top closure system, a removable base reinforced with plastic, a Security Lock mechanism, and straps with hook-and-loop fasteners at the ends.
The dimensions are 60 cm in height, 40 cm in width, and 15 cm in depth. Each case weighs 0.65 kg, with an additional 2.4 kg for the mounting plate on the motorcycle frame.
