Jorge Martín continues in great form and leader of the MotoGP World Championship. After a great performance at the Le Mans GP, the Spanish rider has a 38-point advantage over Francesco Bagnaia.
With so many rumors circulating the MotoGP paddock about the rider market for the 2025 season and his possible move to the Ducati factory team, Martín remains calm about his future.
In statements to Europa Press, the Pramac Team Racing rider talked about his thoughts on his future.
– I hope to close my future soon, during these upcoming races. I have nothing else to prove, what I did last year and what I am doing this year in a satellite team is more than enough. This cycle (at Pramac) is over and it’s time to move to a factory team. I hope, and it’s my goal, to go to the factory Ducati team. But if not, then it will be somewhere else.
He also added about the options still on the table: ‘I know I have good options and wherever it is, I will do well. I am making my way to the Ducati factory team, there is no other story, and I am confident that I will end up being Pecco’s teammate, but what I can’t control… I can control getting good results, winning races. If I don’t have that opportunity, it’s because it doesn’t have to happen.’
The Spanish rider also spoke about the rumors of the possibility of racing as a teammate of Marc Márquez.
– A Martin-Marc Márquez duo does not exist at this moment, but it could happen. Who knows, maybe in the future we could be partners, it wouldn’t be bad.
