MV Agusta will celebrate its 80th anniversary next year, and the milestone will be widely commemorated by the popular manufacturer with the Ottantesimo Collection – including a redesigned logo.
The collection consists of six commemorative models, each limited to 500 units, featuring a “1 di 500” laser-etched inscription on the triple clamp or engine protection plate, along with a certificate of authenticity.
800 three-cylinder Ottantesimo range
There are four motorcycles with 800cc three-cylinder engines in this series: the Brutale RR Ottantesimo, the Dragster RR Ottantesimo, the F3 RR Ottantesimo, and the Superveloce S Ottantesimo.
All models come with a six-axis inertial platform that manages four riding modes (Rain, Sport, Race, and a customizable Custom mode). The traction control has eight adjustment levels (two for Rain, three for Road, and three for Track).
There is an ABS system in the Sport and Race modes, with a Cornering function. Riders will find a 5.5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via the MV Ride app. This also enables curve-by-curve navigation.
Other electronic features include cruise control, launch control, front wheel lift control, as well as the MV Agusta quick-shifter and a new slipper clutch – except for the Dragster RR Ottantesimo, which retains the SCS clutch.
- Brutale RR Ottantesimo
Represents the builder’s legacy, with unmistakable design and iconic colors: Rosso Ago red and Argento Ago silver, with dedicated graphics and the Heritage logo.

This is a dragster with an aggressive style and features the SCS clutch. It is available in Metallic Carbon Black and Argento Ago, with the Heritage logo in gold.

The silencer is made of carbon fiber, and there is a passenger seat cover.
- Superveloce S Ottantesimo
As the top-of-the-range model, the Superveloce has always represented elegance and exclusivity. The Ottantesimo edition is no different. It features a neo-retro design, combining Fire Red and Satin Intense Silver colors. The seat is upholstered in Alcantara, and there are new Millerighe wheels. The motorcycle has an Arrow exhaust that boosts power to 153 hp and a passenger seat cover.
1,000 four-cylinder Ottantesimo range
The highest performance in this 80th-anniversary series of MV Agusta is found in the two models with a 1,000cc four-cylinder engine. This engine has been specially improved, with a new ECU that enables new maps, improves throttle sensitivity, and makes the bike easier to control.
Compliant with Euro 5+ emission standards, the engine produces 201 hp and 116 Nm of torque, with improved low-rev responsiveness in this updated version. The four-exit exhaust was developed in collaboration with Arrow. There is a new ten-disc slipper clutch, more robust, efficient, and easier to manage.
The rider has four riding modes: Rain, Sport, Race, and Custom, which is customizable. The throttle features a ride-by-wire system.
- Brutale 1000 Ottantesimo
This bike has a less rigid and intimidating ergonomics, being more suited to riders who want to alternate between sporty and relaxed riding styles. The design has been updated, with Rosso Ago, Argento Ago colors and gold Heritage logo.
- Brutale 1000 RR Ottantesimo
The hyper-naked Brutale 1000 RR Ottantesimo has a new Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension system, which processes various data from the inertial platform, ECU, and ABS, ensuring optimal support at all times. The bike is available in Fire Red and Ago Matte Silver. Carbon fiber is exposed in several parts of the bike, underscoring the aggressiveness of the design.
