The MotoGP Argentina Grand Prix will not take place this year. The race was originally scheduled for April 5-7 and will not be replaced, despite the Hungarian Grand Prix being on standby.
The decision was announced in a statement that reads: ‘Due to the current circumstances in Argentina, the event promoter has communicated that they are currently unable to guarantee the required services for the Grand Prix to take place in 2024 to MotoGP standards‘.
Therefore, this is the fifth consecutive year in which at least one of the scheduled rounds is canceled for various reasons. Dorna also announced that they ‘hope to return’ to Argentina and Termas de Río Hondo next year.
