After finishing ninth in the Portuguese GP, Miguel Oliveira arrives in Austin for the Americas GP. He will compete at his team’s home, Trackhouse Racing, currently in 14th place in the championship.
Excited for this third round of the season, the Portuguese rider wants to continue progressing at the Circuit of the Americas, emphasizing that it is possible to achieve better results:
– I am looking forward to the team’s home GP in Austin. Last year I was relatively competitive in the top ten positions and with the progress we made with the bike in Portimão, I hope we can take another step in the right direction, we can fight for more.
Oliveira added: ‘It is always a pleasant Grand Prix here and this year will be even more special carrying the American flag with us!‘.
Since making his MotoGP debut in 2019, #88’s best result in Austin is last year’s fifth place – in his first edition riding an Aprilia.
