Miguel Oliveira abandoned the Sprint race of the Italian GP. A crash on the second lap due to a collision with a rival determined a very premature outcome for the man from Trackhouse Racing.
The first lap of “Falcão” was forgettable, starting from 11th and dropping to 16th. Everything got worse on the second lap, when a crash took him out of the race.
At the time, Oliveira was battling with Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) and they both touched, resulting in a crash and retirement for both riders.
Thus, it was an early end of the line for the rider from Almada, unable to translate the good signs left, especially in yesterday’s afternoon practice, into points.
