Before the start of the Thailand Grand Prix, Álex Márquez recalled the incidents of last season’s race that ended with Miguel Oliveira’s victory.
‘Last year I believe we could have won, but it was raining during the race and Miguel Oliveira is a rider who goes fast on wet surfaces and the KTM adapts very well to the rain. They were very quick, but I think it was more of a joke than anything else,’ recalled the Gresini rider, as quoted by the AS newspaper.
‘We’ll see how the weather will be, because here they say it’s going to rain, then it doesn’t rain and it ends up raining. It will be a very open weekend. Physically, my condition is better than in Australia and that is positive. This Grand Prix will be a bit like in Australia,’ the Spanish rider anticipated.
