Miguel Oliveira was the best rider of the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team this weekend at the Australian GP, a result that even surprised the team as the Portuguese did not have the best sensations with the bike.
The Team Manager of the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team spoke about Sunday in Australia, which had the Sprint race canceled, while also mentioning that it was good to move the main race to Saturday.
– Phillip Island ended early because the Sprint was canceled. Of course, it was a good decision to have the main race on Saturday, as it was pouring rain on Sunday. Personally, I would have loved to see them racing, but there was a lot of risk with the wings, the high speed of the MotoGP bikes, and the carbon brakes not reaching the temperature they should, so the decision was sensible in preventing the Sprint race on Sunday.
He also spoke about the team’s best pilot in the only race that took place in Phillip Island: ‘The weekend wasn’t fantastic, Miguel had a lot of difficulty feeling the bike, but he finished in P13 in yesterday’s [Saturday] race, which was better than expected’.
