Miguel Oliveira finished 11th in the Sprint race of the French MotoGP Grand Prix. In a race where he hardly progressed in the standings or overtook on track, the Trackhouse Racing driver finished one place above where he started.
In the first lap of the race, the Portuguese ended up in the position where he finished: 12th. However, he soon found himself right behind his teammate, Raúl Fernández.
Oliveira settled in 12th place, but eventually lost contact with the Spaniard after he overtook Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha). Unable to push further, he held onto his position for a good part of the race.
However, on the tenth lap, #88 moved up a position, thanks to the crash of Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) who was ahead in the standings. Oliveira finished in 11th place, just two places shy of scoring points.
