Miguel Oliveira did not finish the Sprint race of the Catalunya MotoGP Grand Prix. The rider quickly climbed up the standings and was putting in a solid performance in the top ten until he crashed on the tenth of the 12 laps.
Good start from the rider from Almada, who in a few corners climbed from 15th to tenth. On the second lap, he gained another position and was in the points positions, in ninth.
On the fifth lap, Oliveira’s teammate, Raúl Fernández, crashed while leading, which left #88 in eighth. Enea Bastianini (Ducati) was not far ahead.
The scenario repeated itself on the seventh lap: Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) was leading and crashed. This left Oliveira in seventh. However, three laps from the end, “Falcão” crashed, ending the race in an unfortunate way.
