Miguel Oliveira finished the first free practice of the San Marino MotoGP Grand Prix in 18th place. The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team rider was in the top ten in the first 15 minutes, but in a session that is mainly for preparation and where lap times are secondary, he only improved in the last laps without being able to progress significantly in the standings.
In his first stint, the rider from Almada was always around the top ten in the timing table, steadily improving. However, when he returned to the pits with 31 minutes to go, he was 12th, over six tenths behind the leader at the time: Michele Pirro (Aruba.it Ducati).
Oliveira returned to the track about ten minutes later, when he was 17th in the table. Without improving in this second stint, he continued to lose positions and, in the last five minutes, he was already 20th.
In the final moments, the Portuguese rider improved his lap time twice, but it was not enough to make significant progress in the timing table and he finished in 18th, 0.650s behind Pirro who finished in first place.
