Miguel Oliveira’s improvements were evident in the MotoGP Spanish GP, finishing in eighth place as the best Aprilia rider. Now, the Trackhouse Racing man wants to continue on this path in the French GP.
In a statement, the Portuguese said: ‘The Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans is a track I didn’t race on last year, so I am very curious to ride the Aprilia there. The weather forecast looks good at the moment and I am looking forward to enjoying the weekend‘.
Regarding his aspirations for this round, Oliveira stated: ‘The goal is to improve as always and continue to build towards a better result in front of full stands, which are always a feature at the French GP‘.
At the moment, the Portuguese rider is in 13th place in the championship, coming from his best result of the season so far. He has 23 points, and could leave Le Mans in the top ten of the championship.
