Three practices, three 15th places for Miguel Oliveira so far in the French MotoGP Grand Prix. The Trackhouse Racing rider once again placed his Aprilia at the bottom of the top 15 in the second free practice, which took place this morning in Le Mans. Once again, he was the lowest ranked of the four Noale bikes.
For this session, where times do not count for anything and the focus is on preparation, the Portuguese started with two used soft tires, initially being in the top ten.
Improving constantly in the first few minutes, he even managed to be second behind Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM) after completing his first lap in 1m31s. After the first ten minutes, he dropped to ninth, although he continued to improve.
Shortly after, Oliveira went to the pits, when he was already outside the top ten. He returned to the track about 12 minutes before the checkered flag when he was in 13th, once again opting for two used soft tires.
This time, the rider from Almada only completed three laps before returning to the pits, when he had dropped to 14th. He started the last series of laps.
Oliveira’s final outing on track, again with two used tires, happened in the last minute. At that time, he was 15th in the standings and did not improve, finishing in that same position.
