Michael Ruben Rinaldi is leading the second day of World Superbike testing in Jerez. There are about four hours left in the session.
No one has beaten yesterday’s best time. In his best lap, Rinaldi (Motocorsa Racing/Ducati) clocked a time of 1m40.211s, putting him 89 thousandths ahead of Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha). Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha) follows, setting the pace yesterday.
Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven/Ducati) is in fourth, 0.175s behind, with Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha) in fifth, 0.238s adrift. The reigning two-time champion, Álvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Ducati), has yet to set any flying laps.
It should be noted that the timing table includes two MotoGP riders and three bikes that are also testing in Jerez. There are also two World Supersport riders classified: Adrián Huertas and Valentin Debise are in the last two positions respectively, with Huertas being 0.756s faster. Tempos às 12h50:
