Maverick Viñales made history today in Austin and at the end of the race he couldn’t hide his smiles and admitted to be practically living a dream after the performance he had on track.
The Aprilia Racing rider was very smiley in the closed park, where he didn’t hide his happiness:
– Thank you guys! I felt that everyone was rooting for me, I felt fantastic support from all the fans and here in America it was spectacular. What can I say?! History made… I’m dreaming! They gave me what I needed. I’m super happy and we have to keep working. I had a problem with the clutch, it’s a mistake and we have to be careful but the pace was fantastic.
And he concluded: ‘I don’t know how many overtakes I made… I can’t say anything, maybe I would fall. Thank you!’
