MotoGP has a longer calendar than ever, with 21 Grand Prix races. This forces everyone to make sacrifices in their personal lives, with many weeks away from home: about half of the year. And the riders are no exception.
That’s why victories and successes in some cases have an even more special taste. This was the case with Maverick Viñales, who is currently in one of the best moments of his sporting career.
Yesterday, the Spanish rider from Aprilia dominated the Sprint race at the Americas GP, after setting the pole position with a record lap of the Austin circuit. More than enough reasons for great satisfaction.
After the Sprint race, Viñales made sure to praise his family, highlighting his happiness in being able to reward them for all the efforts with the victory achieved:
– I am extremely happy because obviously I am putting in a lot of effort and my family is making a lot of efforts, and I just want to congratulate them because… it’s true, and most of you have families and know how difficult it is with children and finding time, it’s very complicated. My wife carries all the weight on her shoulders and I am focused on the competition. So, I am very happy to repay all this trust with a victory.
