Mattia Pasini Revs Up for Moto2 Comeback with Fantic: Wild Card Unleashed in Germany and Austria

Former Moto2 rider Mattia Pasini is ready to make a thrilling comeback to the track as a wildcard entry for Fantic in the upcoming races in Germany and Austria. Despite his current role as a well-known commentator for Sky, Pasini’s passion for racing still burns bright, leading him back to the adrenaline of the Moto2 circuit.

With a history of seizing wildcard opportunities in the past, Pasini is set to trade his commentator’s microphone for a helmet and racing suit once again in 2025. This time, he will represent Fantic alongside Aron Canet and Barry Baltus, both ranking high in the championship standings. Piloting a Kalex bike, Pasini will test his skills in at least two Grand Prix races, with appearances expected at the Sachsenring in Germany and the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

However, the excitement does not end there as Pasini is also working towards participating in the race at Brno, Czech Republic. If successful, he could compete in three consecutive Grand Prix races, starting on July 13th in Germany, followed by the Czech Republic on July 20th, and then in Austria on August 17th after the summer break.

The return of Mattia Pasini not only adds to the thrill of the Moto2 races but also helps boost the Italian presence in the competition. Currently, only Celestino Vietti and Tony Arbolino fly the Italian flag in the Moto2 category, making Pasini’s return a highly anticipated event for fans and enthusiasts alike. Stay tuned as Pasini revs up to shake up the track once again and show his enduring passion for motorcycle racing.
