The former champion came out on top in Saturday’s simulation, but it was Mattia Casadei who once again stood out as the fastest rider in the test.

The FIM MotoE World Championship action continued this Saturday with the second day of testing, marked by a full race simulation. After several free practice sessions, the riders faced the full race procedure, with an official start included.

Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini MotoE), winner of the 2019 Cup, was the most effective over the seven laps, finishing ahead of the two LCR E-Team representatives. The Italian beat Mattia Casadei by just 0.192 seconds, securing the win in the simulation. Casadei, the defending champion, maintained the best absolute time of the test so far, consolidating his consistency in this 2025 pre-season.

Eric Granado, Casadei’s team-mate, rounded off the podium in the simulation, confirming the overall good performance of the LCR structure. The team is now preparing to react on Sunday, with the qualifying simulation that will close this test programme.

Also on Friday evening, there was an important update on Héctor Garzó (Dynavolt Intact GP), who had suffered a worrying crash. Initially, a fracture to the trapezium of his left hand was suspected, but further tests ruled this out. Although there is no bone damage, the Spaniard will continue to stay away from the test sessions as a precautionary measure.

The third and final day of track action will take place this Sunday, with more news and images to be released on MotoE’s official social networks.
