After the Mugello GP, Ducati will decide who will get the factory seat next to Francesco Bagnaia.
Davide tardozzi spoke about one of the candidates to take that seat, Marc Márquez. The Italian from Ducati Lenovo Team, talked about the Spanish rider in statements to MOW Magazine, even asking, who wouldn’t want to have Márquez on their team.
– I turn the question around: who doesn’t like Marc Márquez? Then, whether it’s Márquez, Enea, or Jorge, is another question. Márquez, like the three, has a little more and a little less. And we will have to evaluate what is the right thing to do. It’s obvious that we like Marc, otherwise he wouldn’t be one of those three.
He also added, when asked about the battle between manufacturers during the season: ‘There is a chance and I hope it happens, I do not underestimate Aprilia and KTM because they are there and I hope for a return of Yamaha next year. But what he said is true and if he wants to repeat it, I am happy. But be careful, because the rivals are strong and they are investing well and have acquired obvious red skills.’
