After showing a little more of what Marc Márquez is all about in the last GP of India, the former world champion aims to make ‘good progress’ in the team’s GP, on a track with fond memories and which he holds dear due to its history in the championship and the importance it holds for Honda fans.
In the team’s official preview of the home GP, #93 began by recalling how special it is to race in Japan: ‘Motegi is always a special race, especially when you’re a Honda rider. We’ve had many memorable moments there in the past, winning championships, returning to poles last year, so I hope we can do something good to give the fans a reason to cheer for us’.
Márquez doesn’t dwell on what he achieved in Buddh, and has his goals well defined: to continue on the path of recovery for the best “possible results”:
– The conditions in Motegi can change a lot, so we will have to adapt throughout the weekend, but our overall goal remains the same: to make constant progress and achieve the best possible result.
